Incorporation Process
To those women who seek to share our way of life we extend a welcome and
provide opportunities to them to discern us their call to our congregation.

Candidacy

After some time of communication with the Vocation Director you apply to enter the congregation as a candidate. It begins with a simple welcoming ceremony. During this time you live in one of our communities and share in the charism, mission and ministries of the sisters. The sisters will help you in your discernment as you share your life experience, your gifts, and your talents in community. This experience, which lasts between six months and two years, will give you the opportunity to experience the life as a Sister of the Blessed Sacrament.

Temporary Profession

The first profession is celebrated with a Mass where you profess to live the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience according to the Constitutions of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament and receive the congregational symbol. Now you are an SBS for three years. After completing the three years you can renew your vows each year up to eight years when you will make your Final Vows.

During the entire process of incorporation until you make your final vows you will have a sister walking closely with you to guide you and help you in your discernment.
